Konflik Sosial dan Penyelesaian Hukum: Peran Mediasi dalam Menyelesaikan Sengketa di Masyarakat

This study examines the role of mediation in resolving social conflicts within communities through legal resolution mechanisms. Focusing on the growing importance of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, particularly mediation, the research explores how mediation functions as an effective tool in addressing disputes and maintaining social harmony. The findings suggest that mediation offers a less adversarial, more cooperative approach to conflict resolution, enabling parties to reach mutually agreed solutions. This method helps avoid lengthy, expensive court procedures while fostering community relationships and promoting social peace. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for wider adoption of mediation in both formal and informal legal systems.
